A Message from the Founder
I grew up in a small, quiet village near Jingdezhen—the ancient porcelain capital of China. In my childhood, clay, kilns, and the quiet dedication of artisans were the most natural landscapes. But like many of my generation, I followed the tide of the modern world.
After graduating from university, I spent seven years navigating the relentless, fast-paced corporate life in the city. Over time, the noise grew louder. The routines felt increasingly hollow, and a profound sense of powerlessness and lost direction began to set in. I was moving fast, yet going nowhere.
A solo journey. An upcoming inspiration.
I needed to breathe. I left the city and embarked on a solo journey across the vast, solitary terrains of the Northwest. Riding alone through endless horizons, surrounded by howling winds and absolute silence, I finally relearned the art of solitude. I realized that true luxury is not found in noise or speed, but in the quiet moments we claim back for ourselves.
Hosuan was born from this journey. It is a return to my roots in Jingdezhen, a translation of that vast, silent wilderness into physical form. Every ceramic piece we create is a medium—a silent companion designed to bring a moment of absolute tranquility into your home.
Thank you for being part of this journey. May you find your own peace within.
